The implication is that our security is not doing their job and that Lee’s Crossing is less safe than in previous years. This is a patently false statement. The security detail and schedule has not changed since the prior administration, and our security team works hard to keep crime down. Statistically Lee’s Crossing is doing very well considering only 1 vehicle was broken into for a long time. There are many factors as to why at heft or a break in may happen, and frequency is not a factor in this particular case. We have procured a report of the crime stats from PBSO for the last 5 years and it shows no indication of rising crime. At this time the Board of Directors is confident in our current security company and will make adjustments if the need arises to ensure the safety and security of its entire Lee’s Crossing resident
